Shards and crafting
Where duplicates go and how they become spins
A duplicate isn’t a wasted spin: in crafting it turns into a new one. Shards go there too, and also into the deck level and bets in the Bank.
Where shards come from
Shards also come in promo codes, event rewards and the shop.
Duplicates of other cards
Common, rare and epic duplicates don’t give shards. They build up in counters of their rarity - separately for each tier, not tied to a card - and also go into crafting, at their own rate.
Crafting
Crafting is an exchange. You give ten units of one resource and get spins. It doesn’t make cards: you can’t craft a specific character, but every spin from crafting has the same chance of a new card.
GIVE 10 - GET
You can craft one at a time, ten, fifty or everything from a source. The “Craft all” button goes through all sources at once - the game will ask you to confirm.
How to spend wisely
- There’s no point in hoarding duplicates: they don’t gain value by sitting around. Got ten - trade them.
- Rare and epic duplicates are better value than shards: the same ten give two and three spins.
- Shards are also needed for the deck level and bets in the Bank. If you’re saving for those, craft by source rather than “all”.
